Research Abstract

対照言語学的に言語のデータを検討し,言語の統語構造の「階層性」の視点から,自然言語における文法の可能性について解明を試みる。本研究においては二つの具体的な課題について研究する。まず,文の周辺的な要素が,統語上どのような階層性をなす可能性があるかについてについて解明すると同時に、階層性の視点から日本語で得られている知見をもとに言語がどのように情報構造を反映させるかについて明らかにする。次に,文の核となる要素について,基本的な文法的役割が同じであっても異なる標示が与えられるという現象について,それぞれの標示に対する意味的な特徴を考察し,それが命題を構成する階層においてどのように反映されるかを明らかにする。
