Research Abstract |
Since the homosexual law reform of 1967, male homosexuality was gradually accepted in Britain. However, its process was not easily wrapped into a happy story in which a new multicultural society was born. For example, from a religious point of view, immigrants from non-Christian worlds, as well as fundamental Christians, would not tolerate sexual minorities such as male homosexual. Further, quite a few post-1967 homosexual law reforms were made possible only after the European judicial courts intervened.
