Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to compare the stonework of the Edo era transversely. Therefore I handle the Tekonakou-hi, stone statue erected by Tekonakou religious group in east Chiba prefecture. Comparing with the archaeological data of other stone monuments including the Koyasukou-hi and the Matsudoukou-hi, I clarified the local culture and the diffusion of vernacular religion of the Edo era.
