Research Abstract |
Findings from the present study suggest that a community-based intervention to provide universal screening for depression and supplemental health education required to facilitate the screening can be effective in reducing the suicide mortality rate for older adults, and such intervention is also feasible among middle-aged adults in rural community settings with a support network in the community.
