Research Abstract |
This study aims to develop an intervention program that enhances junior high school students' preferences for seeking help from their school counselors. From qualitative studies, recognitions of depression and emotional competences and contact experiences with school counselors were identified as predictors of help-seeking preferences. The researchers of this study developed fifty-minute intervention programs that focused on these indicators. The participant of this program answered help-seeking preferences scale and fund positive effects on their scores.
