Research Abstract

ブルックヘブン国立研究所(BNL)のRelativis tic Heavy Ion Collider(RHIC)加速器やCERNのLarge Hadron Collider(LHC)での高エネルギー原子核衝突実験では、宇宙初期で存在していたと予想される高温高密度状態を作り出しその物性を研究することが目的である。本研究では、高エネルギー重イオン衝突直後に生成される高温高密度状態の非平衡物理を理解することである。具体的な手法は、SU(2)プラズマの場合のparticle-in-cell(PIC)シミュレーションあるいは、古典Yang-Mills場の時間発展の数値的な計算をする。
また、カラーグラス凝縮(Color Glass Conde nsate,CGC)の効果を見るために、kt-fact orizationの枠組みを初期条件に使った流体計算や、走る結合定数の効果をとりいれたBalitsky-Kovchegov方程式(rcBK)の数値解を取り入れた計算をして、実験値と比較検討する。
