Research Abstract

固体内の原子核スピンは通常の条件下では無偏極状態にあるが、動的核偏極技術を用いると「超偏極」と呼ばれる非平衡偏極状態を人工的に作り出すことができる。この超偏極は次世代ITにおける主要技術である半導体スピントロニクスや固体量子計算機、あるいは次世代先端分析技術である磁気共鳴型走査プローブ顕微鏡や偏極中性子散乱法などに技術革新をもたらすと期待されている。
我々は、これまで半導体用の動的核偏極技術を独自開発してきた。本研究の目的は、この技術により実現した「半導体内の超偏極核スピン系」を舞台に出現する物理現象について、その本質を偏光と多重磁気共鳴技術を用いて明らかにすることである。
