Research Abstract |
Bose-Einstein condensates have been studied from the points of view of quantized vortices and magnetism. A novel type of Kibble-Zurek mechanism was found to appear due to oscillating magnetic field. In quantum hydrodynamics, quantized vortices were found to play crucial role in various fluid phenomena. Novel phenomena originating from quantized vortices and magnetism are found in magnetic superfluids.
