Research Abstract

(1)本研究では圧電材料と磁歪材料をベースにしたマルチフェロイクス材料を取り上げ,このマルチフェロイクス材料単体や構造材料とマルチフェロイクス材料からなる知的複合材料が熱的環境下で使用される場合の,機能性の発現と強度評価のための数理解析的手法の確立を目指す。
(2)研究の第1の目的は,圧電材料と磁歪材料を張り合わせた積層材料または傾斜機能を有する圧電材料・磁歪材料を線形圧電磁熱弾性体(Linear Magneto-electro-thermoelasic Material)として統一的に定式化し,非定常圧電磁熱弾性問題の厳密解を導出し,数値シミュレーションにより熱変形・熱応力および熱弾性場と電場と磁場の連成効果に関する定量的評価を行うことにある。
(3)第2の目的は耐熱構造材料に圧電材料・磁歪材料からなるマルチフェロイクス材料を張り合わせた耐熱性を有する知的複合材料の非定常圧電磁熱弾性問題の解析方法を確立し、圧電材料・磁歪材料がセンサーやアクチュエータとして機能した時の挙動を調べるとともに,圧電材料あるいは磁歪材料単体と耐熱構造材料からなる知的複合材料よりも、高度なセンサー機能やアクチュエータ機能の発現を調べることである。
