Research Abstract |
This study focuses on towns characterized by elderly residents who use dwellings originally intended as villas as permanent abodes, analyzes their life-styles and communication networks, examines the management and support system created by the developers, and finally proposes some ideas on the residential environment that may ensure their sustainability and enable the residents to continue their independent lives.
