Research Abstract |
This proposal investigated roles of bone cell expressed collagenase 3 on bone remodeling and its related diseases using MMP13 gene deficient mice (MMP13KO). In the mouse models of osteoporosis, the result indicates suppressive phenotypes of bone resorption in MMP13KO.
