Research Abstract

(1)交替制勤務者にとって良質の睡眠を確保することは,健康保持と職務の安全履行のために不可欠である.交替制勤務者への労働負担が,メタボリック症候群(以下,MetSと略)発症に及ぼす影響について,腕時計型体動検出器を用いた睡眠指標と,問診票による睡眠・その他の生活習慣状況を用いて検討する.
(2)MetS発症には,インスリン抵抗性が肥満とならんで重要な要因と考えられる.交替性勤務者は,栄養・睡眠・休養という疲労回復のための3要素に対する対処行動を学ぶことになるが,特に疲労が蓄積・持ち越されやすい35歳以上の男性社員で,交替制勤務者のMetSリスク評価を行う.
