| Research Abstract |
We found that autophagy-deficiency enhances liver injury after ischemia-reperfusion or acetaminophen treatment, moreover, loss of autophagy blunts regeneration of the liver after partial hepatectomy. These findings indicate that autophagy plays a pivotal role on maintaining liver homeostasis in various liver diseases.
