Research Abstract |
Autoantibody-producing B220^<low> B-1 cells were abundantly found in the liver of neonatal mice. These B-1 cells were found to produce autoantibodies upon NKT cell activation. We also found that CD94/NKG2A inhibits NKT cell activation in hepatic injury, and that higher proportions of NKT cells express NKG2A in young mice than in adult mice.
