| Research Abstract |
The purpose of this thesis is to develop computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) systems for detection of pulmonary nodules and distinction between benign and malignant pulmonary nodules on digital chest radiographs. Our CAD system has a potential to assist radiologists for detection of pulmonary nodules and distinction between benign and malignant nodules on digital chest radiographs using similar subtraction images from different patients.
