Research Abstract |
For computational dosimetry with Monte-Carlo method which can perform accurate dose estimation in treatment planning work of radiotherapy, a new voxel modeling method ; "Multistep lattice-voxel method" was devised. Application of the method to Monte-Carlo dosimetry enables to perform high-accuracy estimation as well as fast calculation as about 2 times compared with conventional method. As a investigation result, an patent for the method was applied.
