Research Abstract

基礎は膵内分泌細胞の分化lineageにおける転写因子のprofileの変化であり、4つの転写因子で細胞の初期化がおこるように、遺伝子の発現をきめる転写因子の組み合わせで、分化の方向性や生体の反応性が決まる。分化の様式は発生のときに獲得した記憶で、これが生体の危機や再生時に発動されると考えられるので、発生時の転写カスケードと対比しながら、インスリンの発現調節をする転写因子であるmafAを追跡することにより、代謝にリンクする転写因子のネットワーク、クロストークを検討していく。細胞間のクロストークあるいは臓器間のネットワークを制御する転写因子の検討は必ずや治療のターゲットポイントやマーカーとなるはずで、臨床に有用な情報である。
