Research Abstract

It was successful that direct delivery of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) into myocardium in acute myocardial infarction rat model. The direct delivery of VEGF reduced the size of infarcted area in acute phase after acute myocardial infarction. And then the direct delivery of VEGF improved cardiac function.
