Research Abstract |
We developed an automatic system for measuring hip geometry. By applying this system to bilateral hip radiography of participants in a population-based cohort, reference values for hip geometry in Japan were established. Further, we also apply this system to patients with hip fracture, and found that minimum width of femoral shaft bone cortex, femoral neck angle and Sharp angle were independently associated with hip fracture.
