Research Abstract

口腔扁平苔癬の原因の一つに金属アレルギーがあげられる。金属元素が抗原となるためには体内タンパク質と結合する過程が必須で、口腔扁平苔癬患者の口腔粘膜には何らかの形で原因金属元素が存在すると予想される。
本研究は、PIXE法により口腔扁平苔癬患者の病変部口腔粘膜と健常者の口腔粘膜の上皮層、固有層に含まれる金属元素を各々分析し、粘膜における偏在性を検討することで、これまで推測の域をでなかった同疾患の原因を直接的に証明することを目的とする。
