| Research Abstract |
植物微細藻類である新種渦鞭毛藻,ヘテロカプサ・サーキュラリスカーマ(Heterocapsa circularisquama)(以下,ヘテロカプサ)は,瀬戸内海など日本近海で発生する赤潮プランクトンである。このヘテロカプサは,カキや真珠貝などの二枚貝に対してのみ特異的に毒性を示す。しかしながら,毒性物質ならび毒性発現機構の学術的な解明は未だなされていない。本研究は,ヘテロカプサの毒性物質および構造活性相関を基に創製した機能性低分子をプローブとして特異な生理活性の発現メカニズムの解明を行う。
