位相制御された音響放射圧による生体内部の歪み加振の効率化に関する研究

Research Abstract

生体内部の硬さ計測の一般的な方法では,力を加えて内部に生じた歪み量を計測している.本研究では,対象物の両側から2つの音響放射圧を同期させて照射し,対象物内部に歪みを発生させ,その歪みの空間分布を別の超音波によって可視化するための手法を基礎的に検討し,生体の機械的特性評価へ応用した.1つの音響放射圧によって生体内部に生じる変位は数ミクロンと小さいため,効率的な加振方法を検討する必要がある.そこで本年度は次の研究課題を行ない解決した.
(1)加振の効率化の検討:線状集束トランスジューサによる実験:対象物を点で加振するのではなく,奥行き方向に線状の領域にわたり対象物を加振できるような広い開口のトランスジューサを設計・試作し,加振の効率が1.5倍に向上し,歪みを精度良く計測することが可能となった.(2)歪みの空間分布の超音波計測:超音波加振によって生じる歪みの分布を別の超音波で計測する場合の両方の超音波干渉を防ぐため,超音波周波数の大きく異なる組み合わせを採用し,加振を連続的に行った(計測用20MHz,加振用500kHz).加振用超音波の連続的照射が,超音波計測に影響がないことを実験的に確認した.(3)異方性の計測:弾性率に異方性がある筋肉(トリ肉)に関して,線維の方向によって加振され易さに差異があることを実験的に確認した.(4)総括:音響放射圧を複数同期させた新しい超音波加振による生体組織内での局所的歪みの発生法と,その内部歪みや変位の空間分布の超音波による計測システムに関する研究を実験的に行った.加振効率の向上のために線状集束超音波トランスジューサを試作し,計測用超音波と加振超音波が干渉しない工夫などを導入し実験的に確認した.さらに生体組織への応用を行った結果,生体組織の硬さを内部にわたって評価できる可能性を示すことができた.今後,弾性率分布の算出などへの発展が期待できる.
