Research Abstract

電磁波は、電子の疎密波であるプラズモンを利用すると原子レベルの材料にも閉じ込めることができ、ナノ材料の形状、配列構造を工夫することで、性質を柔軟に変化させることができる。本研究はこの原子スケール・ナノスケールの電磁気現況の物理を明らかにし、主に赤外帯域で高い性能を持つセンシング法や、エネルギー・環境材料の可能性を探る。
