| Research Abstract |
本研究課題では,志村多様体を核として,研究代表者を中心に世界的に活発な研究を行っている外国人研究者を含む若手研究者のグループによる総合的研究を行い,数論幾何学の諸理論やガロア表現,保型表現などに対する新しい知見を得ることを目的とする.個々の分野の個々の問題に取り組むことももちろん大切であるが,それ以上に,旧来の発想にとらわれない若手研究者を中心として,既成の分野の枠にとらわれない活発な研究活動を行い,今までに無い新しい着眼点で新しい理論を構築し,新しい応用を得ることを目指すことが重要である
