Research Abstract |
We have succeeded in developing various new multiferroics and magnetoelectric coupled phenomena. Among these achievements, one of the most striking results is the discovery of a low-field magnetoelectric effect at room temperature in a Z-type hexaferrite. We firstly demonstrate the magnetic control of ferroelectric polarization up to about 400 Kelvin.
