Research Abstract |
This sturdy is a conservation of casting damaged in an earthquake. Targeted research is damaged by the Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred in 2007, Anamizu town designated "Myousenji-dai-tourou" (iron cast lantern). We make a chemical analysis and X ray permeation test of the "Myousenji-dai-tourou". We could reveal about the metal composition of the lantern and the corruption level by testing them. Further, using earthquake generator, we reproduced earthquake destruction by the 2007 Noto earthquake collapsed. We made support a base of the lantern and selected a table isolated from earthquake vibration in preparation for future earthquakes. As a it turned out, we were able to display the lantern again in Nakai-Imono museum.
