Research Abstract

本研究では高周期14族元素間「反転σ結合」を持つビシクロブタンや[1.1.1]プロペラン、およびこれらを構成単位とする化合物群を新しいσ電子系として位置づけ、これらの合成と基礎的物性の解明を行う。これらの「反転σ結合」を基軸とした典型元素化学の新領域を拓くことを目的とし、以下の研究項目を重点的に行う。
(1)ケイ素やゲルマニウムなどの反転σ結合もつ新分子系の創出と基礎的物性の解明
(2)剛直な構造をもつペルシラ[n]スタファン(ペルシラ[1.1.1]プロペラン重合体)の合成と物性の解明
(3)反転σ結合を骨格にもつ新しい鎖状および環状σ共役電子系の創出
(4)反転σ結合の高い反応性を利用した新しい有機分子変換反応の開拓
