Research Abstract |
In this study, superhydrophilic carbon nanotube film is achieved by hyperthermal fluorine atom beam exposure and superhydrophobic one does by hyperthermal oxygen atom beam exposure. This implies the possibility of low friction in high humidity on nano/microtribology achieved by water lubrication between the superhydrophilic and superhydrophobic carbon nanotube films like water strider.
