Research Abstract

We improved the head-mounted and non-contact eye-tracking technology in order to realize Gaze-based Annotation System in Augmented Reality. In case of head-mounted eye-tracker, head pose could be estimated using Simultaneous Localization and Mapping, and the 3D point-or-regard could be calculated by relating the observed interest points. Additionally, the gaze trajectories could be overlaid on the environment model.
