Nutritional education by registered dietitians improved the value of HbA1c at least for 2 years in diabetic patients. At the same time, the amount of the charge for medicines was significantly less than no educated patients. Nutritional education on diabetic patients could be effective on not only the control of sugar condition, and also to reduce medical costs.
