Research Abstract |
Mutagenicity and transformation activity of four rare metals, In_2O_3, Dy_2O_3, WO_3 and Mo, were evaluated. The Ames test revealed that nano-sized Dy_2O_3, In_2O_3 and WO_3 possessed mutagenic potential. With the respect to the result of transformation assay, In_2O_3 and Dy_2O_3 also showed potential ability, although particle size of these rare metals did not affect to their transformation activity.
