Research Abstract |
In this project, I tried to analyze the transformation of Chinese funeral rites, by focusing on local crematorium's working people from anthropological approach. For reforming funeral behavior and idea, state severely manages mourning policy and crematorium. This study reveals that local crematorium's working people play the role of medium, they adjust funeral policy and bereaved family, they make political conformity and cultural diversity.
