| Research Abstract |
In this study, we analyse legislations concerning food quality in EU law and it's member states' law. Legal protection of the origin of food is undeveloped in Japan compared that in EU, we argue that it is important to introduce a new legal measure to Japan to effectively protect the origin of food.
