Research Abstract

啓蒙時代の18世紀スコットランドにおける利害衝突のいくつかの事例をもとに、アダム・スミスの『国富論』(1776年)と、トマス・ヘップバーンの『オークニー諸島の貧困』(1760年)を当時の文脈に位置づけながら、スコットランド啓蒙の経済思想の歴史的背景と特質の一端を明らかにする。
