Research Abstract |
This research examines possibilities of social policies to reduce poverty and narrow disparities in income through verifying poverty reducing effects of social policies in the United States. The subject of this research is Faith-based and Community Initiatives under Bush Administration. It grants subsidies to religious organizations offering social services. By verifying poverty reducing effects of FBCI, this research elucidates the possibilities of American civil society.
