Research Abstract |
This research focuses on a social group with fluidity and mobility in local community which has especially developed into tourist area. Social mobility, social characteristics, social function, social interaction, were investigated by sociological method. The results of this research are as follows. A social group with fluidity and mobility is constituted of "I tune" people, newcomer residents, seasonal laborer. This distinct group constitutes current local community, so this group is an important factor to comprehend it. Their life world is clarified from interviews with this social group with fluidity and mobility and local residents who have accepted them. Characteristics of them emerged from research on hotel owners have accepted them. This group is comparatively young, accepted as family member of accommodation business of traditional hotel owner's families and non-traditional hotel owner's families that arrived from the external society.
