Research Abstract

単独の自励系においては凸領域上の安定定常解は定数解に限ることが知られている.しかし反応項が空間に対して非一様な場合には``安定定常解なら自明解である"という事実は成り立たず, 定常解は安定であっても実にさまざまな形状をもちうることが知られている.空間一様の状況下では空間的に非一様な安定解は存在しえないが,反応項に少しでも空間的摂動を加えると空間1次元の領域上であっても非常に大きなギャップをもつ安定定常解が多数現れることがある.本研究ではこのような特異現象の例となる方程式系について研究し,その空間非一様性が拡散と微妙なバランスをとってうみだす空間パターンを解析する.
