Research Abstract	大地震の発生過程を理解するためには、絶対値まで含めた応力場の情報が欠かせない。そこで、余震のメカニズム解と本震断層のすべり量分布を用いて震源域における絶対応力場を推定する方法を提案し、それを4つの地震(1995年兵庫県南部地震、2007年新潟県中越沖地震、2007年能登半島地震、2009年駿河湾の地震)に適用した。推定結果は色々な観測事例とも調和的であり、手法の有効性も確認できた。
