Research Abstract |
The reduction-nitridation synthesis route and the novel sintering method for nanocrystalline Mn-doped aluminum nitride (AlN) particles were successfully established, and their photoluminescence and optical absorption properties were extensively investigated. The bright red-emitting Mn-doped AlN nanoparticles possessing high sinterability will lead to the potential application as luminescent converters for solar cells with high durability and wavelength-conversion capability.
