Research Abstract |
Methane flux and its controlling environmental factors were investigated in forests in Asian region. In temperate forest, methane uptake was dominant at dry forest floor part, however, large methane emission was obsereved at wet part. In addition, rainfall pattern and hydrological processes played important roles on controlling methane production including its production pathways.
