Research Abstract |
We have shown a new inhibitory mechanism against inflammatory response to extracellular nucleotides-induced Gq protein/phospholipase C (PLC) pathway. Because the Gq/PLC pathway consolidates several signal transductions caused by hormones and neurotransmitters, inhibition of this pathway may be an attractive target for novel therapeutic drugs.
