Research Abstract |
This research found that 1) there are several types of PLX (PI/PE-form in addition to PC-form), 2) long chain acyl-CoA synthetase 4 (Acsl4) may be involved in the biosynthesis of PLX, 3) certain platelet-activating factor receptor antagonist inhibits PLX-mediated gene expression, 4) the induction of sPLA2-IIA expression is regulated by PKC isozymes.
