Research Abstract |
Wnt signaling is implicated in numerous physiological events such as morphogenesis. Here we show the importance of chondroitin 4-O-sulfotransferase-1 (C4ST-1) in the efficient signaling of Wnt-3a. We propose a mechanism in which structural alterations in CS chains mediated by C4ST-1 control the strength of Wnt-3a signaling.
