Research Abstract

Notch/RBP-Jシグナルは神経幹細胞の維持をはじめ、神経発生を多段階で制御することが知られていた。我々は、Notchシグナルの主要な伝達因子RBP-Jが神経細胞の成熟にも関与していることを見出した。蛍光蛋白質であるGPSの変異体であるVenusを用いてNotchシグナルを可視化することによって、その機能がRBP-Jの転写抑制によることを明らかにした。
