Research Abstract |
Transcriptional Repressor Neuron Restrictive Silencer Factor (NRSF) regulate aldosterone and cortisol/corticosteron synthesis by binding to NRSF-binding elements in CACNA1H gene in human and rat to indirectly induce CYP11B2 and CYP11B1 and by binding to those in human CYP11B2 and CYP11B1 genes to directly modify the expression of these genes.
