Research Abstract |
In this study, new spatial interaction models are proposed in order to deal with trip-chains which consist of a sequence of movements. In particular, entropy models for circular trip-chains is formulated. These models allow us to consider touring behavior between destinations and to treat more realistic travels. Furthermore, efficient algorisms to estimate parameters are also discussed. These models can be applied to several practical issues in urban analysis
