Research Abstract |
Tunneling-spin filtering effect of ferromagnetic insulator La_2NiMnO_6 was studied. Magnetoresistance measurements were carried out for magnetic tunnel junctions using Au/La_2NiMnO_6 and ferromagnetic metal La_<0.7>Sr_<0.3>MnO_3 electrodes fabricated on SrTiO_3 (001) substrates. The spin filtering efficiency through La_2NiMnO_6 estimated from the tunnel magnetoresistance ratio was about 9% at 50K and 4% at 110K.
