Research Abstract |
Two transcription factors Pdx1 and Pax6 play pivotal roles for GIP gene regulation. Some reports showed that the sweet taste receptor is involved in sugar-induced incretin secretion, however, we indicated that sweeteners, which surly bind to the receptor, do not enhance incretin release in rats.
