d-f元素系配位高分子であるLa[Fe(CN)_6]・5H_2Oの熱分解によって、孔が規則的に配列した多孔質複合酸化物LaFeO_3が調製できることを見い出した。これまでのLaFeO_3の一般的な調製法である固相反応法や共沈法ではそのような多孔質体は得られない。得られた多孔質LaFeO_3およびPd担持LaFeO_3を触媒としてメタンの酸化反応を行い、従来法によって調製したものとの比較を行った。
