| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research project aims to examine the export spillover effect through firms’ networks, focusing on Vietnamese embroidery industrial clusters. In the research period, we surveyed identical embroidery producers twice. In the survey, we asked about firms’ performance, exporting activities, productivity, outsourcing firms, and buyers. In the future, we will construct firms’ networks based on the supply chain and investigate the effects of export spillover.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
先進国のみながら新興国においても、輸出を促進させるため様々な政策が実施されている。エジプトのカーペット産業の生産者を対象に行った経済実験に基づいた研究によると、企業が輸出を開始すること、輸出業者からの技術指導により生産者は生産性を高める効果がある。しかし、企業の輸出行動がその企業とつながりを持っている企業に対してどのような影響を与えるかについてはよくわかっていない。そこで、本研究の目的は、企業間ネットワークを介して企業の輸出行動が他の企業に対してどのように波及するのかを検証することで、輸出の社会的便益を正確に評価し、最適な貿易政策の立案・実施に貢献することである。
